WHAT WE DO

We offer four areas of expertise - Server Virtualization, Edge Protection, Outsourced IT Services and VoIP Phone Systems.

Server Virtualization. This saves your company money by moving all of your file servers into one powerful server. Each file server “thinks” it still installed on a separate machine. Why do it? It will save you money - electrical use and cooling costs are dramatically cut. Plus they are much easier to backup and move to newer systems as needed.

Edge Protection. While the Internet is a great resource, it is populated with large numbers of people who are determined to steal your secrets. And they are very good at it. We provide an Edge Protection server that keeps your LAN safe, and also stops your employees for accessing web sites they shouldn’t. You’ll even get frequent reports of who is going where, when and how. It will save you money as you’ll avoid intrusion attacks, keep your employees focused and allow easy, secure remote access - remote working if you desire.

Outsourced IT Services. Back in the 90’s we used the break/fix model; you’d break it, call us and we’d fix it. This wasn’t very efficient as the incentive was to just wait for the next problem and get paid for fixing it; it was expensive for you and frustrating for us as we weren’t providing preventative care like the HMOs. That has changed. We now provide preventative care through management of your network and proactively fixing, patching and repairing it on a daily basis through remote access. We provide software to give us daily reports of your LANs health and then we quickly fix the problems before you’re even aware of them. You get regular reports as to this process. It’s cheaper for you, and more satisfying for us.

VoIP Phone Systems. We provide phone systems for up to 200 users that use the Internet for voice traffic rather than phone lines through AT&T/BellSouth. Why? It’s a LOT cheaper, flexible and modern. Five lines through AT&T/BellSouth may cost you $350 a month. If you get the same capacity through your VoIP switch, its less than $30! And you’ll get a lot more features by using the business phone switch.

 

We are pleased to introduce you to a great product that is both low cost and yet provides great value for companies with 50 or fewer employees - a Linux firewall and filter, the best way to clean the mess that spam, phishing, employee shopping and a variety of other problems you have when connected to the Internet. We install a special PC in your network that is like a hardware router on steroids.

We specialize in “Outsourced IT Services”, the process of proactively managing our client’s networks to keep them running smoothly rather than using the traditional model of “Break/Fix”. Break/Fix is simply the use of external specialists to fix what has become broken, a not very efficient use of your money. Download this for more information.

We still do Break/Fix work at a very moderate cost. We find the problems, and fix them fast. In the course of this work we advise areas that need attention, for either immediate resolution or as a line item in a future project.

VoIP business phone switches are “extensible.” This means that are new features are released they can be easily implemented for your employees with immediate results.

A popular feature is the ability to get reports of which extension is used to reach clients, the conversation length and to access the call recording. If you bill clients for time, then you can create a monthly report to reconcile it against your time accounting program and catch omissions resulting in significant revenue enhancement for your company.

It’s also easy to offer teleworking for your inside employees and provide use of the phone switch for virtual employees. The outside employee can just plug their phone in at home, in another office, a hotel room, etc. and connect to the phone switch. All of the functionality remains and calls are “originated from the office, and clients see the office’s DID event though the employee could be overseas.
